Who is New Moon?

New Moon is a casual RP, "family friendly" guild. We don't insist our members be in-character at all times, and in fact guild chat often has a mix of IC and OOC. But we respect those who prefer a more in-depth RP experience, and do our best to remain reasonably in-character when dealing with others. L33t-speak, AOL speak and the like are never acceptable, however.

We're not racing for the end-game, or relentlessly pursuing the high-end or grinding instances day in and day out. We're here to have fun. This doesn't mean we're unskilled, or don't try to become proficient at our classes, or spurn the idea of tackling dungeons - far from it. We just don't take it too seriously.

We have members who have done the uber-l33t-raiding guild thing in other games as well as those for whom WoW is their first MMO.

Our membership varies in age from 20's to 50's, but we don't have a hard-and-fast age limit. We do expect a reasonable level of maturity. This doesn't mean things don't get silly from time to time - again, we're here to have fun.

We help each other out. Need some help tackling the tightly-packed elites for that end-of-the-chain quest? No problem. Need advice on where to find a bunch of tin veins? If someone knows the answer, they'll try to pass the knowledge on. You don't always have to group, but if you're looking for a group chances are you can fill a slot or two from within our ranks.
